The building site is on a steeply inclined hillside. The client’s wish is for an affordable house with small rooms, but which nevertheless interact with the unspoiled countryside via large windows. Based on this topography, this house consists of a lower ground level with two storeys. The structure features a strong Southern wall made of rubble masonry to assure the stability.
The house consists of four bedrooms, a living and dining area, a grey kitchen and a kitchen pantry, three bathrooms, a TV lobby and an office room. Bedrooms and balconies opens to the surrounding environment. The centralized living and dining space provides a common facility. Architect has incorporated voids to provide natural lighting and flows the fresh air between floors. In crafting a comfortable and personal family home, the scheme seeks to blend the functional requirements with specific site.
