The complex for vaharaka temple at Anuradhapura includes a stupa, danashala, bell tower and the landscaping. The design aims to bring a breath of traditional spirit to modern life, and at the same time creating spaces full of natural light. Although fresh and creative materials are what the design desired, traditional materials like wood and stone are going to remain classic because of their durability and strength. So we tried to blend in these materials with the semi modern design without harming the tradition. The design represents harmony and balance in nature.
